Scratch was called to order at 10:25 by the Seam Squirrel. were 6 Pup Tent Cooties Absent.
Opening ceremonies IAW MOC Rituals.
Roll call was held: 5 Shavetails absent, 5 Shavetails present. Max fine would be P20 each offense.

Seam Squirrel asked if there were any new member applications: HC said that there were none.
Seam Squirrel asked if there was Degree Work to be completed: Degree work needs to be completed for Grayback Ron Middleton. Grayback Middleton was successfully initiated for Third Degree.
Seam Squirrel asked if the minutes from the last Scratch had been posted: Minutes for the Sep Scratch was posted and sent via email to all Coots that we have an address for and posted on the web site. No changes have been received. Motion to accept minutes as posted seconded by Cootie # 62. Cootie # 66 made the motion. No discussion. Motion carried.

Seam Squirrel asked for reading of official and other communications: No Correspondence.
Seam Squirrel asked if there was a Cootie or Family Member of a Cootie in distress: No known change in status of Cooties John T and OB.
Seam Squirrel asked for the report of the CCDB: Report was given in detail. CCDB seconded a motion to accept the report as presented. Motion made by Cootie # 66. Motion carried.
REPORT OF COMMITTES:
Hospital Chairman Report: We currently stand at 130% of Annual Quota our goal should be to reach 150% by the CofA. We need to make more efforts with home / hospital visits, most of our percentage (sorry to say) came from burials. Cooties #66 said that he would try to set up a few visits this month.
Booster Chairman: Booster report went out. We are doing well.
Membership: 28 Coots at the end of 2011 term. Currently we have 11 life, 3 annuals and 3 new Coots for 17 which is 60.7%. Cootie Eisman #25 has paid his dues and Ron Middleton #76 will be submitted this week which will bring us up to 67.85%. Thirteen Coots still need to renew their annual membership. An updated list of PT 11 Coots will be attached to these minutes.

NEW BUSINESS
Cootie #62 said that the Cootie Chili Cook-off Team needs a new pressure cooker. He seconded a motion for the PUP TENT to purchase a pressure cooker, Cootie #30 made the motion. During the discussion a limit of P2500 was placed on the purchase. Motion carried.
Cootie #66 said that the new sign to be installed would cost P17,000 for the removal of old business sign, reinforcement of pole, redoing the face of the sign and installation. Cootie #66 seconded the motion for the PT to assist the Post in the cost of installation. Motion was made by Cootie #30. During discussion it was decided that the PT would provide half of the cost P8500 if the Post agrees to do the installation and pays at least half. Carried.
Good of the Scratch: Raffle tickets for the Chili Cook-off in Nov still for sale, as are tickets for the CofA and Veterans Day at Post 2485 (PT15).
Cootie #30 said that a well known lawyer and Philippine veteran Dela Cruz died a short time ago.
Cootie #30 (Provost Marshall) gave a few pointers on Cootie etiquette that he will be looking for when collecting fines at the next scratch, i.e. tassels not hanging neatly on the side of the hat, feet flat on the floor, crossing of legs etc.
Half and Half. Half and half tickets sold came to P600. Cootie #30 won the draw. He donated his half to the General Fund toward the cost of raffle tickets that we will need to purchase.
