Scratch held on 5 January at Post Home
Scratch was called to order at 10:10 by the Seam Squirrel.
Opening ceremonies were IAW MOC Rituals.
Roll call was held: 5 Shavetails absent, 5 Shavetails present. Total six Cooties in attendance. Max fine would be P20 each offense.

Seam Squirrel asked if there were any new member applications: HC said that there were none.
Seam Squirrel asked if there was Degree Work to be completed: No degree work
Seam Squirrel asked if the minutes from the last Scratch had been posted: Minutes for the DEC Scratch were posted and sent via email to all Coots that we have an address for and posted on the web site. Motion to accept minutes as posted seconded by Cootie # 66. Cootie # 62 made the motion. No discussion. Motion carried.

Seam Squirrel asked if there was a Cootie or Family Member of a Cootie in distress: Cootie # 8 visited the Post for the first time in over a year last week. He is getting around slowly with the aid of his walker.
We have had a few emails from Cootie # 38, but nothing indicating he will be returning soon.
Seam Squirrel asked for the report of the CCDB: Report was given in detail. At the end of Dec there was a total of $2319.86 in cash on hand or in the bank. Of this $1694.69 was in General Fund and $625.17 in the Hospital Fund. Cootie #54 donated $300 to the Pup Tent during the CofA in Angeles City. Thank you. Cootie 66 seconded a motion to accept the report Pending audit. (Audit was completed after the Scratch). Motion made by Cootie # 30. Motion carried.
REPORT OF COMMITTES:
Hospital Chairman Report: We currently stand at 159% of Annual Quota. No more home visits to be scheduled until after the Beach Bash.
Booster Chairman: Booster report went out. We are doing well.
Membership: We had 28 Coots at the end of 2011 term. Currently we have 12 life, 16 annuals, 1 reinstated and 4 new Coots for a total of 33 Coots which is 117.9% and 113.8% of Supreme goal of 29 Coots (4 Coots over Supreme Goal). Thanks for your support.

NEW BUSINESS
SS called for a motion to change the date of the Feb scratch due to a conflict with the District Meeting in Baguio. Motion was seconded by Cootie # 66, made by
Cootie # 30. After discussion, it was decided to hold the Feb Scratch on 30 Jan. Motion carried.
Cootie # 30 seconded a motion to sell Cootie Shirts at the Grand Scratch in June. Motion Made by Cootie # 66. After extended discussion, the motion was tabled to allow for “brain-storming” later.

Nominations for 2012-2013 Shavetails will start next scratch
Cootie #73 (Post 4 American Legion Commander) said the next American Legion meeting starting time has changed, it will start at 1300 on Sunday the 11th of DEC.
Half and Half. 50/50 tickets sold came to P800. Winner was Cootie # 65. Cootie #65 donated his winnings back to the Pup Tent, Thank You.
