Scratch held on 1 DEC 2011 at Post Home
Scratch was called to order at 10:00 by the Seam Squirrel.
Opening ceremonies were IAW MOC Rituals.
Roll call was held: 5 Shavetails absent, 5 Shavetails present. Total six Cooties in attendance. Max fine would be P20 each offense.

Seam Squirrel asked if there were any new member applications: HC said that there were none.

Seam Squirrel asked if the minutes from the last Scratch had been posted: Minutes for the DEC Scratch were posted and sent via email to all Coots that we have an address for and posted on the web site. Motion to accept minutes as posted seconded by Cootie # 62. Cootie # 66 made the motion. No discussion. Motion carried.
Seam Squirrel asked for report of the Hungry Cootie: NTR
Seam Squirrel asked for reading of official and other communications: HC read an Email from Don Webster Ass't Adjutant concerning the Christie Braun Supreme Scholarship Fund. HC said the donation from the PT was not budgeted and would have to be voted on during New Business. Email is attached.

Seam Squirrel asked for the report of the CCDB: Report was given in detail. At the end of Nov there was a total of $2511.21 in cash on hand or in the bank. Of this $1890.56 was in General Fund and $622.21 in the Hospital Fund. CCDB seconded a motion to accept the report as presented. Motion made by Cootie # 30. Motion carried.
REPORT OF COMMITTES:
Hospital Chairman Report: We currently stand at 140% of Annual Quota, after Supreme has revised all quotas and requirements. Did not reach our goal of 150% before the CofA, but we had the highest percentage in the Grand.
Booster Chairman: Booster report went out. We are doing well. (Note: I talked to some PT 11 Coots at the CofA who are members of other Posts that we need their inputs, they said they will comply).
Membership: We had 28 Coots at the end of 2011 term. Currently we have 12 life, 9 annuals and 4 new Coots for a total of 25 Coots which is 89.29%. (Note: Received dues from Cooties Fain Boruff and Barry Hirshbein, also reinstatement dues for Cootie Gerald Kraus since the meeting. This gives us 100% in membership for 2012).

NEW BUSINESS
HC seconded the motion for the PT to approve a donation of $28 (based on 28 members at end of last year) for the Supreme Scholarship Fund. Motion made by Cootie #66. HC said that the $28 was sent to Grand via bank transfer at the end of Nov so that we would get credit for it at the CofA. Vote was unanimous to approve the donation.
Good of the Scratch:
Cootie #30 said that the setting up of the Parade for the Beach Bash is ongoing. Checking on the cost of trophies for the event. He walked the parade route and said that it would take about 40 minutes from start to finish. Still need judges.
Cootie #73 (Post 4 American Legion Commander) said the next American Legion meeting starting time has changed, it will start at 1300 on Sunday the 11th of DEC.
Half and Half. Half and half tickets sold came to P600. Winner was Cootie # 73. Chris donated his winnings back to the Pup Tent.
