Post Commander called the meeting to
order at 1000 on Wednesday, 4 November 2009.
There were 21 members in attendance and no guests.
Comrade Richmond gave the opening prayer.
Commander led attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Section 3 of the
Congressional Charter.
The Roll Call was taken by Comrade Soper.

Commander asked if the minutes from the previous meeting had been posted:
The Minutes were posted and corrections have been made. Comrade Doty made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Comrade Best. Approved
Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report. Comrade Soper made the motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Comrade Best. Carried. The report is on file at the Post home, if anyone wants to see the report, contact the Quartermaster.

Notes:
1. The negative balance in admission fees is because we are waiting for a final payment from a member who went Life on a installment program.
2. The general fund decrease was due to payment of Rent
3.The decrease of $850 in Relief fund was due to Post paying part of a members hospital bill who has since died.

several members recently not only from our post, but
also members of the American legion:

Adjutant Doty gave the report gave the report. Life membership stands at 369,
3 new members, 12 continuous and
3 reinstated Total 387 for a percentage of 93.48%.
QM
reported we have two new qualified membership
applications for Lee Liesinger and John Price.
Motion made by QM to approve the
applicants for joining the VFW.
Vote was taken and new members approved.
PHC Report:
PHC-Chairman Rowell reported.

PHC Members Mike Best and Commander Jim Correll conducted Post
canteen end of the month inventory on 31 October 2009.

Daily Draw chips were inventoried by Comrade Best and Comrade Rowell . All 479 chips are present and accounted for.
- Canteen records and funds were audited by the Trustees on 13 October 09.
- PHC reviewed canteen monthly financial report and found it to be in good order.

Jose Reported: Good Scratch. Looking for some new members The Cooties will be handling the funeral for Buzz. Nothing else to report.

QM has updated website if any member notes any problems pse contact Adjutant.
Building Committee:
Need to talk with T-Rose about lease details. Comrade Sullivan stated that his landlord is amicable to talks. Comrade Best is talking with actual owner of Blue Danube not lease holder.
C of A Committee:
Please register for the upcoming convention through the website so you can get name cards.
Beach Bash Committee:
Meeting scheduled for 9 November all is on schedule Need to have volunteers for .
Chaplain led the membership in reciting the National Home Prayer.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The Commander reopened the
tabled motion to admit members who are not
present to have a representative sign up for the
drawings on a daily basis.
Motion was seconded by Comrade Phillips.
Carried Adjutant will amend rules for
immediate implementation.
Commander vacated Surgeons
post and PHC3 post due to continued non
attendance.
Commander nominated Comrade
Doty for SVC. Motion accepted and carried.

Soper for PHC 1st year.

NEW BUSINESS
Commander pushed 2485 raffle tickets we need to reciprocate as they sell numerous tickets of ours. Thank you for your support. We also have Chili cook off tickets to sell. Commander made the motion to have the post and the pup tent purchase the remaining books of the tickets. Comrade Doty seconded the motion. Motion carried
There will be a Marine Corps ball here 10 Nov 1600 open to all hands See Comrade Doty or Comrade Soper.
Commander received a solicitation letter from Wesleyan school for sponsorship for a team. Commander made a motion for giving them a 1500 peso donation once we get more information as to the details of the team that is being talked about. Motion was seconded by Comrade Phillips. And Carried

Phillips passed that the Vietnam Veterans
Representative is in town all who wish to meet
with him on Friday 1330 6 November. Followed by
a social at Rum Jungle.
