Post Commander called the meeting to order at 1000 on Wednesday, 10 March 2010.
There were 16 members in attendance and 1 guest.
Comrade gave the opening prayer.
Commander led attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Section 3 of the Congressional Charter.
The Roll Call was taken by Comrade Soper. All present except Chaplain Richmond.

Commander asked if the minutes from the previous meeting had been posted:
The Minutes were sent out to all members with an e-mail address on file. Comrade Soper made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Comrade Doty. Comrade Koeppen stated that we need to ensure the date of the Trustees audit is included. All agreed, Approved
Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report. Comrade Soper made the motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Comrade Doty. Carried. The audit was conducted on 10 March, 2010. The report is on file, if anyone wants to see the report, contact the Quartermaster.
Commander called for the Service Officer's report:
Commander reported that Comrade JB is awaiting his final call at his house. Comrade Brower went up to the VA and is awaiting approval for his ears (hearing aid). Comrade Gorton is in the Afable hospital has a blood clot and a leg infection. If anyone gets a chance go over and see JB. He won’t be much longer in this world. QM reported we have one new life member Albert Shelton retired USN and three more annual members. Motion was made to accept by the QM, Seconded by Comrade Soper, approved
We need 9 continuous members to renew to get us up to 100%.

Audit was conducted on the Beach Bash last month.
NEW BUSINESS
Commander made a motion for vote by a show of hands of any uncontested positions. If there are any positions being contested by two or more members we will have a written ballot monitored by the QM and the Adjutant. Motion seconded and approved

Commander reported that RAO is sending out a note to all retirees wishing for them to purchase a prepaid cremation certificate from Olongapo Memorial Crematorium, or a prepaid burial plan from any of the local mortuaries. Members need to ensure that their wills are in order and that they have sufficient funds set aside for any final medical expenses.
Members without a valid address probably did not receive a renewal notice from National. Dues can be paid to the QM or in his absence the Commander, Vice Commander or Adjutant. Dues this year has increased to $40 due to increase in Department portion of the dues. Can be paid by dollar, check or Peso (P1840). Make checks made payable to “VFW Post 11447”
FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
Comrade Koeppen passed that the FRA is working with the commander to fix the VA ID cards which are currently having a software problem with the using of the PI as part of the address.
Commander sponsored a hole at the RSL golf tournament for the Post and put our logo on their t-shirts that will be for sale during the FRALICS.
QM has raffle tickets for sale see him for sales.
Comrade Smith won the 50/50 raffle P1400 was collected. P700 to the winner, 700 to the Post. Comrade Smith donated his winnings to the Relief Fund. Thank you Comrade Smith.
Chaplain gave the Closing Prayer.
