| Post Commander Correll called the meeting to order at 1100 on Wednesday, 8 Mar 2006.
There were 23 members in attendance.
Comrade Alvarez gave the opening prayer.
Commander led attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Section 3 of the Congressional Charter.
The Roll Call was taken by the Adjutant and absentees noted.

Commander asked if the minutes from the previous meeting had been posted. The Adjutant reported they had, and no comments or changes had been made. Comrade Saunders made motion to accept the minutes as written, seconded by Comrade Alvarez. Carried.
Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report.
Trustee audit was completed on 1 Mar 2006
Comrade Saunders made the motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Comrade Alvarez. Carried.
Commander called for the Service Officer's
report: The ashes of Comrade Dunn were put to rest at Clark .
Commander called for the Surgeon's report:
The Surgeon attended a presentation about child abuse and the jailing of children with adults in the Philippines overcrowded jails. He was given a VCD tape concerning the same.

PHC Report:
Comrade Richmond gave report. Only part of the report is given here, the complete report is on file and posted on the bulletin board.

One cook and a cook helper had their employment terminated due to misconduct.

A new employee code of conduct was submitted and approved by the PHC.

Happy hour every Thursday from 1500 to 1700. Five pesos off each drink and free snacks will be provided.
d.
There will be a drawing every month for a free steak dinner. Members will be given a ticket when they purchase a meal at the canteen.
e.
There will be an employee meeting the first Wednesday of every month.
Membership Committee:
SVC Sullivan gave latest stats on membership drive. 344 Life members, 11 new, 9 reinstated and 38 continuous for a total of 402. We are at 103.61%.

Comrade Alvarez reported P450 was collected.
Seam Squirrel Report:
Scratch was held 2 March and nominations for and election of new Shavetails was done. Comrade Phillips thanks everyone who helped out at the Beach Bash.
Web Master:
Comrade Landry said that he is going to put pictures from the Beach Bash, CofA and Christmas party on website.
Building Committee:
Commander Correll reported that negotiations had ended with the owner of the Blarney Stone (see last months minutes). Post will continue to look for new lot/building and continue negotiations with owner of current Post Home.
Beach Bash Committee:

PHC member Richmond made a motion for repair and purchase of tents be put in the budget, seconded by Comrade Alvarez. During discussion it was decided that it would be brought up when the new budget is made. Comrade Saunders made a second motion that the PHC should be allocated up to $200 to repair tents. Seconded by Comrade Alvarez. Comrade Koeppen said he had provided some repair material. Vote taken. Carried.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
1.
SVC Sullivan asked if there was going to be a family picnic this year. During discussion it was decided that at least $400 would be needed. The post budget had $200 approved for that event and Pup Tent 11 would donate $100. It was suggested that additional funds could be made with raffle tickets and donations. Proposed date would be mid May. A committee was formed to find a location for the picnic and cost. Comrades Alvarez (Chairman), Phillips and Sullivan are the committee members.
2.
50/50 Raffle won by Comrade Chico Miranda. Total of P850 went to the Building Fund.
Comrade Alvarez gave the Closing Prayer.
Commander adjourned the meeting at 1150. Next meeting will be held at the Post Home at 1100, Wednesday 12 April 2006.
