Post Commander Correll called the meeting to order at 1000 on Wednesday, 08 July 2009.
There were 22 members in attendance and no guests.
Chaplain Richmond gave the opening prayer.
Commander Correll led attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Section 3 of the
Congressional Charter.
The Roll Call was taken by the Adjutant: Surgeon Geselschap, Service Officer Gerken, Trustee Wright, Trustee Steakley, and PHC Member Culotta all absent. PHC Member Rowell Excused.

The Adjutant reported that they had been posted on the website and were sent to all members with an email address on file, and that one minor correction had been requested and made. The motion to accept as corrected was made by Comrade Doty. It was seconded by Guard Best. Carried
Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report. Trustees conducted an audit of QM records on 6 July. No discrepancies were found. Comrade Doty made the motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Comrade Koeppen. Carried. The report is on file at the Post home, if anyone wants to see the Report, contact the Quartermaster.

Adjutant Doty gave the report gave the report. Life membership stands at 367, 17 new members, 25 continuous and 5 reinstated Total 414 for a percentage of 100.49%.
PHC Report:

Meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. by Chairman Rowell. The following members were present: Commander Correll, Quartermaster: Burnett, PHC Chairman Rowell, Committee Members Best and Culotta
Others Present: Canteen Manager Carmen Hendricks, Trustees Koeppen and Wright, Comrade Bronson, and Advocate Phillips.
Audits and Reviews:
Looking at replacing the roof of the patio expected cost of 20000. Bar and Food sales down from last month Drain being fixed in the kitchen is being repaired from Commanders fund expected cost of 4000 if anyone wishes to donate please do so. Canteen Manager position will be filled by a member of the current canteen staff on a trial basis this should save us some money.

Seam Squirrel Report:
SS Phillips Reported: Another Good Scratch. Swarm on the 24th will be a social at Rock Lobster 250 per person entrance fee. We are multiplying in numbers and have been having real good times at the scratches. Additionally we are looking at having a Post commander from Guam becoming a Cootie.

Commander reported We have the mid term convention up coming in December at the Wild Orchid resort. There will be a Scratch on the 3rd of Dec.
Beach Bash Committee:
Commander reported: We will attempt to hold and use the same venues as last year but as always that will be subject to availability. Fall back options are being considered Dates for Beach Bash will be 3-7 Feb 2010. Deadlines are as follows Streamers 15 Dec. Letters to parade Sponsors 31 Oct. Shirts initial design Sep 30 Next meeting scheduled for August 4 1000 at Mangos.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
QM reported SEC should be done Wed next week CPA informed that 1 Million peso requirement is not necessary just 50,000 for initial then 1 mil for Jan of each year. Annual reports must be done yearly. Failure to do so is why we got our SEC revoked last time. Reason we need SEC registration is to get our VAT taxes refunded to us. This is dependent on us becoming a registered non-profit institution.
NEW BUSINESS
Commander- Correll opened up nominations for SVC and JVC no new eligible nominations brought forward. Nominations will be re-opened at next regular meeting.
FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
Comrade Sully reports that when disabled people get turned away from using the disabled facilities inside the building it means that we really need to fix the problems that other tenants in the building are creating. Comrade Sully wishes that we move to a bar, Commander expressed that we have a year to year lease but the agreement is that the rent will not be raised for 3 years. Right now we are obligated till next May. Commander Correll will review the lease contract. Comrade Koeppen stated that these types of concerns need to be addressed at the PHC meeting.

Social Security outreach is going to be 28 July at Vista Marina
July 19 Birthday party at the Post home all members invited food and drinks 1400-1700
50/50 Raffle was won by Comrade Best. P1800 was collected. P900 to the winner, P900 to the Post. Comrade Soper donated 500 of his winnings to the general fund.
