Post Commander called the meeting to order at 1000 on Wednesday, 13 January 2010.
There were 18 members in attendance and 1 guest.
Comrade Richmond gave the opening prayer.
CDR led attendees in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Section 3 of the Congressional Charter.
The Roll Call was taken by Comrade Burnett. All present except Comrades Gerken, Rowell, Best and Soper all excused.

Post Commander 10122 Frank Chupko from the Great State of New Jersey was introduced.
Commander asked if the minutes from the previous meeting had been posted:
The Minutes were sent out to all members with an e-mail address on file. Comrade Doty made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Comrade Koeppen. Approved
Commander called for the report of the Quartermaster:
QM Burnett presented the report. Audit was done on 13 Jan. Comrade Burnett made the motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Comrade Doty. Carried. The report is on file, if anyone wants to see the report, contact the Quartermaster.
Commander called for the Service Officer's report:
Comrade Doty reported that Comrade Alvarez is in undergoing therapy at St
Catherine's hospital. Comrade Wetzel is out of the hospital but still has medical problems. Comrade Creasy had eye surgery and doing well. Comrade
"Big Mike" Best is resting at home and getting therapy after suffering a fall. Past Post/District Commander Dale Barsey is under treatment for medical problems in the States.

JB Bryson still not well, out of the hospital at this time but will be going back in for medical treatment.

Membership Committee:
Adjutant Doty gave the report gave the report. Life membership stands at 371,
3 new members, 20 continuous and
3 reinstated Total 397 for a percentage of 95.89%.
PHC Report:
SVC Doty reported that the move is going well with most items in storage at Comrade Koeppen's residence for long term storage. Items that are need for daily operations of the Post are stored at various members residences. Items required for Beach Bash are stored mostly at JB's house and PHC Chairman Rowell's bar. Comrade Rowell borrowed one refrigerator and freezer along with bar stools in turn for the Post using part of his bar for storage, items will be returned when needed. Would like to thank Comrades Doty, Burnett, Rowell, Koeppen, Phillips, Pickering and Wright for their assistance in the move.
PHC meeting was held on 11 Jan. Members attending were CDR Correll and PHC Chairman Rowell, Comrades Burnett, Doty, Koeppen, Wright, Steakley and Carmen Hendricks. Meeting was informal and items discussed were the move and where items are being relocated to. Final disposal of food items, etc. was done on the 10th and 11th . Not much was in the freezer and could only be described as possible use for dog food. Bread and other unusable items were thrown out. Members purchased $33.33 for some items, one inoperable refrigerator (repaired several time but does not last long) was purchased by maintenance man Wilson for storage of personal items at home.
Amerasian Scholarship Committee:
Christmas Party and Field Trip went well, thank you all for the donations that made these events possible. Comrade Mike Best was Santa Claus again.
Buddy Poppy Chairman:
Comrade Richmond reported that P680 had been collected at the meeting.
Seam Squirrel Report:
Comrade Phillips Reported: Good Scratch. A good time was had although only 6 Cooties were able to attend. Scratch was held at the Rock Lobster.

Still in search of new Post Home.
Beach Bash Committee:
Meeting scheduled for 18 Jan, all is on schedule. Need to have volunteers for several tasks most notably solicitations. Shirts for sale at the Bash are being ordered.
Chaplain led the membership in reciting the National Home Prayer.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
As approved by members at last meeting the Post Home was closed on 26 DEC.
CDR called for nomination for JVC and Surgeon position's, none were forthcoming.
Post FIL-AM raffle tickets are on sale for P500 or $10 per book. If all tickets are sold Post could make a profit of $9000 which would put in the black.
Comrade Shorty Phillips made a pledge to
purchase 10 books.
NEW BUSINESS
Post has 20 Post 124 raffle tickets for sale at P250 each. CDR made the motion for the Post to purchased any tickets not sold. Seconded by Comrade Phillips. Carried. Post 124 Fun Day drawing is scheduled for 3 Feb. Commander and Comrade Phillips will attend.
FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
Comrade Phillips said that the VVA wants to
purchase FIL-AM ticket books.
Comrade Sullivan thank everyone who attended his Christmas party, had a great turnout and all had a lot of fun.
Comrade Burnett gave a little bit of detail on distinguished visitor from New Jersey Frank Chupko. Frank has served many positions at this Post home to include eight times as Post Commander, and twice as District Commander. One term as District Commander they won All-American.
Comrade Sullivan held an auction for four items. CDR won the bid for two Jim Beam Barbeque sets total P1000 which he wanted donated to Relief Fund. Comrade Burnett won a slow cooker (bid P300) and Comrade Phillips won a 100 cup coffee pot (bid P500). Both items were donated to the Post by John Frey.
50/50 Raffle was won by Comrade Sullivan P1600 was collected. P800 to the winner, P800 to the Post Relief Fund. Sully donated his share to the Relief Fund. Thank you Sully.
